Origins of Vietnamese Tea Tree

Vietnamese cajuput essential  oil is extracted from the Melaleuca leucadendra tree with high essential oil content thanks to the humid tropical climate:

• Mekong Delta (Can Tho, Dong Thap, An Giang): The largest growing area, high yield, suitable for industrial production.
• Central region (Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam): Natural tea trees with excellent quality and rich aroma.
• Southern region (Binh Duong, Dong Nai): Newly developed planting areas with improved varieties.

Production Process

1. Harvesting fresh leaves and branches from 5-6 year old tea trees.
2. Cleaning and slight wilting to increase extraction efficiency.
3. Steam distillation at 100°C for 2-4 hours.
4. Condensation and separation of oil from water (oil floats on top).
5. Fine filtering and immediate packaging to maintain quality.

• Standard: Dark glass bottles 5-100ml or aluminum/HDPE drums 5-25kg (suitable for bulk export).
